Aida d.d. Tuzla is a factory that produces footwear mainly for foreign markets. Before the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Aida d.d. had a developed trade network of its own, with widespread retail facilities in BiH and Serbia. Aida was founded in 1969 in Tuzla, but had three plants in Tuzla, Lukavac and Srebrenik. Aida plants are trained to make men’s, women’s, children’s, fashion, protective and sports footwear with a wide range of models.

Aida d.d. Since its establishment, Tuzla has had three production plants located in Tuzla, Lukavac and Srebrenik (Duboki Potok).

Plant in Tuzla

The plant in Tuzla includes the following production capacities:

Tailor’s shop – one production line
Sewing room – three production lines
Assembly – one production line
The plant in Tuzla had a capacity of about 80,000 pairs of shoes produced per year. The plant employed about 200 people.

Plant in Lukavac

The plant in Lukavac includes the following production capacities:

Assembly – one production line
The plant in Lukavac had a capacity of about 75,000 pairs of shoes produced per year. The plant employed about 70 people.

Plant in Srebrenik

The plant in Srebrenik (Duboki Potok) includes the following production capacities:

Tailor’s shop – one production line
Sewing room – one production line
The plant in Srebrenik had a capacity of about 40,000 pairs of shoes produced per year. The plant employed about 60 people.
