Fegyvernek

Fegyvernek is a town in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county, in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary.

Economy 

Weapon is the name of a large village with a Szekler-Hungarian runic.

Agriculture 

The soils of the settlement and its surroundings are meadow solonets , meadow chernozem and plain lowland lime. In addition to grazing livestock and field production, fruit and vegetable production is also flourishing in the settlement. The backwaters of the Tisza provide particularly good opportunities for the development of fishing and water tourism, and even fishing is an important economic factor in itself.

Industry 

Today, only the construction and civil engineering industries are present in the settlement, the rolling mill, the brick factory and the former major processing plants have ceased to exist.
