The Jihlava Psychiatric Hospital is a nationwide hospital that provides all inpatient psychiatric care (with the exception of child psychiatry) to citizens mainly from the districts of Jihlava, Pelhřimov, Třebíč, Jindřichův Hradec, Žďár nad Sázavou and Tábor.
The Jihlava Psychiatric Hospital is a specialized medical institution that provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient psychiatric and diagnostic care, as well as the activities of the institutional pharmacy and pharmacy for the public. The catchment area includes the former districts: Jihlava, Pelhřimov, Třebíč, Žďár nad Sázavou, Jindřichův Hradec and Tábor.
At present, the hospital has 520 beds in 18 departments of six primary schools.Jihlava Psychiatric Hospital is a state-subsidized organization established by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic on the basis of the deed of incorporation dated 29 March 2013 under file no. 8870-VII / 2013.
Director, MUDr. Dagmar Dvořáková, is appointed by the Minister of Health and as the statutory body of the organization is authorized to act on its behalf in all matters. Organizational division and management relations are regulated in the organizational rules.
At present, the hospital has 450 employees, of which 336 are in the medical professions.
The total area of the hospital is 15.6 ha, including the adjacent part of the former military complex with an area of 1.4 ha, which was then transferred to the hospital in 2006. There are a total of 29 buildings and structures in the complex. There are 7 treatment pavilions, a culture house and other operational and technical buildings, such as a laundry room, boiler room and the like. Part of the area is a park, gardening and ZOO corner with an outdoor riding arena for hippotherapy.
