The Private School Marie-Consolatrice in Esch-sur-Alzette is a private Catholic high school for young girls of all faiths. The school, which is now part of elisabeth , was founded in 1888 by the Sisters of St. Elizabeth Congregation. It was then the first school for girls in the country.
Currently, around 500 students, coming from all the south of Luxembourg, follow a training course. Along with the transmission of knowledge and skills-based teaching, in accordance with the official programs of National Education, the EPMC undertakes to provide all the necessary support to students from 7th to 1st, with intensive help, and to prepare them for official examinations recognized by the State.
