Perfectly groomed pistes (12km from Innsbruck) surrounded by unspoilt Alpine nature. Stunning panoramic views over the Inn valley and across to the summit of the Nordkette combined with powder snow and plenty of sun: The “Glungezer” is a hotspot Alpine and ski touring enthusiasts.
In addition, the Glungezer can boast with the longest descent in the Tyrol with more than 15km! You’ll find it hard not to resist a refreshments stop in one of the traditional mountain huts or at the cosy Alpenrestaurant Halsmarter.
Skiing at the Glungezer is great; but the mini-lift on the Vögelsberg with snow machines, night skiing, and another lift system on the Wattenberg for younger guests, are also enticing draws.
Another five ski resorts are surrounding the region and easy reachable: The Patscherkofel, Nordkette, Muttereralmbahn, Axamer Lizum and Ranggerköpfl.
