To see in Stockerau

28 km from Vienna, this peaceful town with its baroque bell tower and spared from mass tourism opens onto a nature reserve. It has a provincial atmosphere. The small central square is lined with houses with painted facades, as is the town hall.

A glass of white wine can be enjoyed at the Rathaus, the town hall café, while having a snack, or you can cross the square and have an honest meal at Wagner’s opposite. Or you can buy some good products at the Rathausplatz bakery.

Typical inns are also waiting for you. A rare model and electric train shop is also available on site. And if the local atmosphere has charmed you and you would like to enjoy a bit more peace and quiet before returning to the hustle and bustle of Vienna, you can stay at the Lenaustuben in the main street.
