Vauvenargues high school

France

The Lycée Vauvenargues is a public school located in Aix-en-Provence bringing together a general high school, a vocational high school , a preparatory class for grandes écoles ( CPGE ), an apprenticeship training center ( CFA ) offering a BTS and a Greta . Originally called Lycée Carnot , it took its current name in 1962 in tribute to the moralist Luc de Clapiers , Marquis de Vauvenargues . It occupies an entire wing of the establishment, with its workshops. Professional training allows the award of four CAP diplomas and six vocational baccalauréats .

The Vauvenargues high school offers two preparatory classes for the grandes écoles , a higher technician’s certificate managed by the apprenticeship training center ( CFA ) as well as a professional license .
